By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your details accurate. Tell us immediately at legal@joyr1der.com of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure, to the extent permitted by law. You may not transfer your account, impersonate others, or create an account to evade a ban.
All account holders are verified to be 18 or older. Privileged roles are granted by us — not freely self-selected.

We may approve, decline, suspend or revoke any privileged role (host, promoter, moderator, advertiser) at our discretion, including for safety or policy reasons.
“Clicks” are the virtual currency of the Service. There are two kinds, each shown with its own on-screen symbol:
The “ℂ” and “฿” symbols are proprietary marks for JoyR1der’s in-app virtual currency only. They are NOT real-world money and do NOT represent any national or fiat currency. In particular, “ℂ” denotes Clicks and “฿” denotes Bonus as defined in these Terms — the “฿” glyph is used here solely as JoyR1der’s mark for Bonus and does not represent the Thai Baht or any other government-issued currency, e-money, or legal tender. Both are a limited, revocable licence to use a feature of the Service and have no value outside it (except that earned Clicks may be redeemed for a payout as described below).
Clicks are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use a feature of the Service — not money, a bank deposit, or a stored-value or e-money instrument, and they earn no interest. You may transfer Clicks only to a mutual friend. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Click purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by law or expressly offered by us. If a purchase is charged back or reversed, we may reclaim the corresponding Clicks, and your balance may go negative until the shortfall is cleared. We may change Click pricing, features and promotional grants at any time.
The age and identity checks in section 2 are provided for a fee, always shown before the check runs: the face liveness/age-estimation selfie is always free — JoyR1der pays the cost. A government-ID check is also free when it is asked of you as a consumer (for example to go on camera, or to take part in a one-to-one), or when a selfie could not confirm you are an adult. A government-ID check carries a fee (currently ℂ250 (US$2.50), which we may change and always show first) only when you complete it to earn — to host, co-host, promote, sell content, or become a moderator/Community Guardian. That earner fee is fronted for you (you are never blocked on balance) and becomes a small debt we recover from Clicks you later buy or earn. A Community Guardian who passes onboarding and completes assigned work on time for 30 days has that ID-check fee waived.
Paying a government-ID-check fee. An ID-check fee must be paid within 90 days. If it is not, your account is limited to face-check-only access (you keep basic access but lose the higher-risk features listed in section 2) until the fee is paid. You can clear an ID-check fee at any time in one of two ways: (a) buy Clicks, from which we recover the fee; or (b) pay the fee directly by card at Stripe as a one-time payment, without buying Clicks. The card-payment option is available at any time from a pinned in-app notice and from Profile → Rider → “Pay ID Fee and avoid downgrade.” Any check we require of you for a safety review (for example, after a report that you may be under 18) is free.
Paid events are billed as advertised — typically per minute (metered by our servers, which are the authoritative record) or as a fixed fee. Price stepping: some per-minute events reduce the per-rider rate in published steps as more riders join, and may raise it again — up to but never above the starting per-minute rate shown to you when you joined — as riders leave. When the rate rises, we show you an on-screen notice and billing continues at the new (higher, but never above your starting) rate; you may leave at any time. Where you pre-book, a deposit may be held in escrow. If a host does not appear within the grace period, your deposit is refunded; if you booked and do not attend after the host goes live, your deposit may be forfeited to the host. Very short sessions (under about 30 seconds) are not charged. Where we offer refunds, riders may request one within the stated window; refunds are typically pro-rated to the unwatched portion, may be held while a host challenges them, and are decided on review. Refund availability is a feature we provide and may vary, but this does not limit any refund or remedy you are entitled to by law.
Memberships & free riding. A host may restrict an event to their subscribers (“members only”), and may — entirely at their own discretion, on a per-event basis — allow their Deluxe subscribers to ride that event free. Free riding is a perk the host chooses to give by forgoing their own earnings for those riders; it is not guaranteed, applies only to the host’s active Deluxe members, and can be switched on or off at any time, including during a live event. If a host turns “members only” on during a live event, riders who are not members may be removed after their time so far is billed. When Deluxe members start or stop riding free, the per-rider price for the remaining paying riders may step up or down as described above — but never above the starting rate you were shown when you joined, and you may leave at any time. Membership tiers otherwise confer status and access perks (badges, extra live-time, a private Deluxe chat); they do not include an always-on ride discount.
New-rider free rides (Test-Drive Miles). To let newcomers experience the Service, JoyR1der may grant a new rider a small, one-time allowance of free riding time (“Test-Drive Miles”) that can be used only to ride public group events. As a host you accept that some riders may join your public group events and ride for up to that allowance of time before being charged. This is free exposure: the platform bears only its own streaming cost, no Clicks are created, and the host is not paid for that free time (just as you are not charged for it). Test-Drive Miles have no cash value, are never redeemable, withdrawable, or convertible to Clicks, cannot be used for memberships, tips, gifts, bids, goods, one-to-one or solo experiences, and are granted at our discretion. When a rider’s Test-Drive Miles run out they are asked to pay the normal rate to continue or to leave.
Recording. JoyR1der does not record every event. A live event is recorded only when (a) its host or a moderator chooses to record it, or (b) a JoyR1der administrator records it for safety, moderation or legal-compliance purposes. Whenever a recording starts, everyone in the event is notified on-screen and may leave before it continues; by remaining in, appearing in, or otherwise taking part in a recorded event — as a host, co-host, driving rider, or viewer whose camera, microphone or messages are active — you consent to that recording. Administrator safety recordings are retained privately for a limited period, are used only for safety, moderation, legal-compliance and dispute-resolution purposes, and are never published, made available for viewing, sold, or offered for download. A host’s own recording is their content: the first 90 minutes are free, and beyond that we charge the host ℂ3 per minute (a rate we may change and always show first) to recover our recording costs — the host is told the rate when they start recording and is asked to confirm before any paid time begins; if they decline or run out of Clicks, recording stops but the event continues. A recorded event may run for up to 6 hours. A host may choose to make their recording shareable, subject to the content licence in section 11. Recordings are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to be recorded, leave when the on-screen recording notice appears.
Posts Creator Fund. If you publish to the Posts feed, you may share in the Posts Creator Fund. Each month we set aside a pool of up to 30% of the net advertising revenue the Posts feed earns that month, and divide it among eligible creators in proportion to the qualified engagement their posts earned (de-duplicated unique-viewer engagement and comments, excluding your own views). Your share, if any, is paid in Clicks to your earnings balance, subject to the standard payout minimum and holds. This is a revenue-share pool, not a sale — the 81% / 19% creator split does not apply to Fund distributions — and a share is not guaranteed (it depends on total advertising revenue and total engagement, both of which vary). We may change the pool percentage or pause the Fund. You must be an adult in good standing to receive a share.
Creators may sell eligible goods, content or subscriptions. Store prices are shown and paid in Bonus (฿): buyers pay with Bonus first, and if their Bonus is insufficient they may choose to complete the purchase with Clicks. On every sale the creator keeps 81% and JoyR1der retains a 19% platform fee. The creator’s 81% is paid in the same funding the buyer used — Bonus (non-withdrawable) for a Bonus-funded sale, and cashable Clicks for a Clicks-funded sale — so a creator’s Store earnings may be a mix of both. You are the seller of record for your listings, you must hold all necessary rights, and you must complete the rights attestation and our review before a listing goes live. You are responsible for your listings, their legality, and any consumer obligations to your buyers.
Hosted content & storage. Hosts may upload and offer content (video, images, PDFs and audio) and event recordings to members or for a set price. You may set content to expire: this hides it from search, viewing, streaming and download while keeping it in your own catalogue, so you can re-enable it later. Storage is provided free up to an allowance that scales with your earnings; we may limit further uploads once you reach that allowance. To keep the platform sustainable, content that is not viewed, sold, or edited for an extended period may be archived after around 60 days of dormancy and permanently deleted after around 90 days of continuous dormancy. We will warn you before deletion, and you can prevent it at any time by keeping the content (which resets the dormancy period). Deleted content cannot be recovered. Content you allow to be downloaded may be saved by buyers and cannot be recalled, and you must hold all rights to anything you upload.
Advertisers fund a prepaid wallet in real currency and bid in our auction. Campaigns are shown only to verified adults (18+), must pass our review, and may be paused or removed at our discretion. Advertisers must advertise lawfully and truthfully, hold rights to their creative, and complete any verification we require. Advertising targeting uses content categories, interests and coarse location — never a user’s identity documents or private messages.
JoyR1der is an experience-sharing platform for live, real-time experiences and conversation. It is not an adult-content or pornography service, and building a following around sexual content is not what JoyR1der is for. You are responsible for what you stream, post and send. You must not use the Service to create, share, promote or solicit:
Beyond these prohibitions, all content must comply with our Community Guidelines and with the reasonable decisions of our moderators. The Community Guidelines set the standards for what is and isn’t acceptable — including how we treat sexual, adult and other sensitive content — and we may update them from time to time. We may remove content, limit its reach, age-restrict it, or restrict or close accounts to enforce these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our moderators’ decisions, at our reasonable discretion — including where content is lawful but not consistent with the purpose and standards of the Service.
The 18+ account requirement does not permit adult content. JoyR1der requires account holders to be 18 or older (a minor-safety requirement), but that is not a permission to share pornography, sexual content, violence or any other adult material, and it does not change what content is allowed. Every content rule in these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our moderators’ decisions applies in full. Building a following around sexual content is not what JoyR1der is for.
The Service, its software, branding and design are owned by Conesworth Limited and its licensors. You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, display, reproduce and adapt your content as needed to operate, promote and improve the Service and to comply with law and safety obligations. This licence continues for content others have received or that we must retain for legal or safety reasons, and otherwise ends when your content is deleted. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact legal@joyr1der.com; an upheld claim may result in removal of the content (including stopping a live event) and, where applicable, a refund to affected riders.
We operate reporting, moderation and appeals as described in our Privacy Policy. Where you breach these Terms or our rules, we may (depending on severity and after any applicable appeal window): warn you, limit your reach or features, remove content, suspend or permanently close your account, withhold or forfeit funds held for you, require re-verification, and refer serious matters to authorities. Strikes decay over time and a successful appeal reverses the associated penalty. On account closure for cause, remaining Clicks may be paid to your connected payout account or, if you have none, forfeited after a short grace period, in each case subject to your non-excludable legal rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information — including the age-assurance checks we run and the biometric data involved — and the measures we take to keep minors off the Service. It forms part of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that user content or hosts will meet your expectations. JoyR1der is a platform that connects users; we are not a party to the interactions between users and are not responsible for their conduct. Nothing in this section limits guarantees or rights you have that cannot be excluded by law (see the notice at the top of these Terms). Where those laws allow us to limit the remedy for a breach of a guarantee, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or goodwill; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or NZ$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conesworth Limited and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of law — except to the extent caused by us.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, to protect users or the Service, or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, IP licence for retained content, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law) survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts — except that this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws, or the jurisdiction of consumer courts, that apply where you live and cannot be excluded by agreement. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at legal@joyr1der.com so we can try to resolve the matter.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will update the “Effective” date and give notice in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. Nothing creates an agency, partnership or employment relationship between us.
