JoyR1der is an experience-sharing platform. It’s for hosting and joining live, real-time experiences and conversation — performances, skills and hobbies, tours and adventures, watch-alongs, hangouts, Q&As, and community. The point is genuine connection around a real experience.
JoyR1der is not a pornography platform, and it is not a place to build a following around sexual content. If your main reason for being here is to create or promote sexual content, JoyR1der is not the right platform for you.
These Guidelines aren’t a rigid checklist — they’re standards our moderators apply using judgment, in context, case by case. Depending on what we find and how serious it is, we (and our moderators) may:
We may act on content that is lawful but not consistent with what JoyR1der is for. Moderator decisions can be appealed, and a successful appeal reverses the penalty. Where a decision is a borderline judgment call, our moderators make it, and their decision is final subject to that appeal.
Because JoyR1der is about real experiences and conversation rather than sexual gratification, sexual and adult content is not what the platform is for. We don’t set out an exhaustive list of exactly what is or isn’t allowed, because context matters — instead, our moderators apply judgment against the standards below.
What our moderators are looking out for. They may remove, limit, age-restrict, or take action on accounts where content:
Nudity or mature themes that are genuinely incidental to a real experience (for example, art, education, or a candid moment) aren’t automatically off-limits — but they’re judged in context, and content that shifts the focus to sexual gratification will be treated as above. If you’re unsure, assume JoyR1der is not the place for it. Sexualising minors is never permitted — see §5.
Every JoyR1der account holder is verified to be 18 or older. This is a minor-safety account requirement, not an audience or content descriptor.
It is not a permission to share adult content. It does not allow pornography, violence, or any other adult material, and it does not change what content is allowed. Every rule in these Guidelines applies in full.
In other words: the 18+ requirement is about who can hold an account, not what you may show. Keep a grown-up conversation grown-up — don’t use it to host content that wouldn’t otherwise be allowed.
Keeping young people safe is non-negotiable. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualisation of a minor are strictly and absolutely prohibited, will be removed and preserved, will result in immediate account termination, and will be reported to the authorities (including the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs and NCMEC).
You must not attempt to bypass or defeat our age checks, and you must not misrepresent your age. If you believe someone on JoyR1der is under 18, please report them — we will verify and remove anyone who is. Our Privacy Policy explains how we verify age and keep minors off the Service.
Treat people the way you’d want to be treated. Not allowed:
Be genuinely you. Don’t impersonate other people, brands or JoyR1der staff; don’t run scams, deceptive schemes, or spam; and don’t manipulate Clicks, earnings, votes, or engagement through fake or fraudulent means.
Only share content you have the rights to. Don’t stream or post other people’s copyrighted material (music, film, games, etc.) without permission. If you believe your work has been infringed, contact legal@joyr1der.com; an upheld claim may result in removal, including stopping a live event.
Don’t use JoyR1der for anything illegal, or to facilitate it — including the sale of drugs, weapons or other regulated or illegal goods, trafficking, terrorism, or fraud.
Respect other people’s privacy. Don’t share someone’s private or identifying information without consent, and get the agreement of anyone you feature in your stream or content. Don’t record or share private moments people haven’t agreed to.
We enforce these Guidelines together with our Terms & Conditions. Penalties scale with severity and history; strikes decay over time, and a successful appeal reverses the associated penalty. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to permanent removal and, where applicable, forfeiture of funds and referral to authorities. See Moderation & enforcement in the Terms for how appeals work.
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, use the in-app Report option on the event, message, profile, or item. Reports are reviewed by our moderators. For legal or safety matters you can also reach us at legal@joyr1der.com.
We may update these Community Guidelines. When we make a material change we’ll update the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, give notice in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Guidelines.
