Version 1.2 · 26 October 2026 · Conesworth Limited (New Zealand) · Child-safety contact: safety@joyr1der.com
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). JoyR1der has
zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This document is our published
Child-Safety Standard: it sets out that commitment, how we keep the platform strictly for adults, how we
verify age, how anyone can report a child-safety concern in-app, and how we escalate to the authorities.
Every measure described here is enforced in our server code and designed to “fail closed”:
if we cannot confirm a user is an adult, interactive features stay locked. Read this alongside our
Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions
and Community Guidelines.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualisation of, or sexual interest in, a minor are
strictly and absolutely prohibited on JoyR1der. Where we become aware of such material or
conduct we remove it, preserve the evidence, terminate the account, and report to the authorities
— see §7. There is no context, consent, or labelling under which this content is permitted.
2. Who operates JoyR1der
JoyR1der is operated by Conesworth Limited, a company incorporated in New Zealand (company
number 1862936), registered office 16 Rautawhiri Road, Helensville 0800, New Zealand. Our dedicated,
monitored child-safety point of contact is safety@joyr1der.com.
3. Strictly 18+: no minors, no exceptions
You must be at least 18 to create an account or use JoyR1der. Our sign-up screens will not
accept a date of birth under 18. There are no child or teen accounts and no
guardian-managed accounts — the product contains no code path a person under 18 can reach.
Every account holder is a verified adult. There are no minor age bands or tiers — one class of user, the
verified adult.
4. Age assurance (we do not rely on self-declared age)
Age is verified with a two-tier process, not taken on trust:
Tier 1 — Face liveness + age estimation (baseline). Before a user can interact (public chat,
direct messages, spending/tipping, posting, or going on camera) they complete a liveness selfie,
analysed by an automated facial age-estimation provider (AWS Rekognition) to estimate their age.
Tier 2 — Government-ID check (higher assurance). If the estimate suggests the person may be
under 21, or they want a higher-risk feature (hosting, promoting, one-to-one video, receiving a payout, or
becoming a moderator), they must complete a government-ID identity check via Stripe Identity.
Outcome. A user confirmed as an adult is marked verified. A user a check confirms is under 18
is removed from the platform.
5. Reporting a child-safety concern in-app
Any user can report content or another user from an in-app Report control on every surface —
live streams, profiles, posts, the feed, comments and messages. The report form includes an explicit reason for a
user who appears to be under 18 (and for child-endangerment), captures evidence, and routes the
report to a priority child-safety queue reviewed only by our official/staff moderators, never by
volunteers. Reports can also be sent directly to safety@joyr1der.com.
When a user is reported as appearing under 18, the account is reviewed and may be required to complete a
government-ID check. A user confirmed under 18 — or who refuses or fails the check in time — is
suspended and removed.
6. Detecting a minor who appears in content
Although every account holder is an adult, a real child could appear on camera (for example, a bystander). In
addition to user reporting, a server-side Live Content Guard samples live streams; the combination
of an apparent minor and explicit content freezes the stream, preserves the evidence, and generates a report
to NCMEC. We can also run automated age-estimation across reported recordings to help detect a suspected
minor appearing in content.
7. Reporting to the authorities
Where we become aware of child sexual abuse material we preserve the relevant evidence and
escalate to the appropriate authorities: the U.S. National Center for Missing &
Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline, and New Zealand’s Department of Internal
Affairs. We maintain the required reporting registrations and comply with applicable child-safety law.
8. How we handle biometric (face) data
We obtain explicit consent before the camera captures anything.
The selfie is used only for age estimation and liveness, is deleted immediately after
processing, and is not retained by the provider or by us — we keep only the result (an
estimated age band / pass-refer outcome).
We never use facial data for advertising, profiling or identification, and never sell it.
The face scan is optional. Anyone can choose the government-ID check instead.
9. Moderation and human oversight
Content moderation is performed by people, across community, senior and official tiers.
Community and senior moderators are unpaid volunteers who pass a government-ID check and accept our
Volunteer Moderator Terms, including confidentiality and a duty to
escalate illegal or child-safety material without investigating it themselves. Official
moderators are JoyR1der staff.
Severe categories — anything involving minors, violence, self-harm, weapons, trafficking or threats —
are routed only to our official/staff moderators, never to volunteers.
10. No adult content
JoyR1der is not an adult-content or mature-content service. Pornography, nudity and sexual
content of any kind are prohibited, and are removed when found. The 18+ account requirement exists
to protect minors: it means adults can use JoyR1der without children being involved. It is never a permission for
adult content. Content involving minors is never permitted, under any circumstances (§1). Full standards are in our
Community Guidelines.
11. How to reach us
